Do you know who lived there prior to the Ralph Moore family? Is there any additional information available concerning this house?

My relatives Alpheus (Alphonse) & Emilie Cormier lived in Danville in 1870. I am trying to trace their roots in Danville. Does anyone know the history behind the naming of Cormier road?
