Vermont Civil War Hemlocks to Encamp in Danville

Hemlocks fire a canon
The Vermont Hemlocks fire one of their cannons in Tunbridge

The Civil War Committee met on March 8 at Historical House and discussed ideas for the 150th observance of the Civil War. Some great events are in the works, beginning with an encampment of the Vermont Civil War Hemlocks in May near the school. The Hemlocks will be part of the Memorial Day services, setting up on Sunday, May 29, and participating in Memorial Day activities on May 30. We hope many will come to enjoy this special event. It promises to be educational, inspiring and LOUD. They are going to fire the big guns!
