We could not be happier to announce that the much anticipated and long-awaited book, West Danville, Vermont Then and Now, 1791 – 2021, will be available for purchase by the end of this week, just in time for everyone on your Christmas list!
Through the extraordinary efforts of everyone involved in the final process, especially Leahy Press in Montpelier and Optimum Bindery in Nashua, NH, books are set to arrive later this week allowing us to hold true to our original projection of having the book completed in time for those requesting to purchase as Christmas gifts.
Books will be available for purchase between the hours of 10am-3pm in the basement of the Danville Congregational Church, beside the Choate Sias house on Hill Street in Danville, on Friday, December 10 and Saturday, December 11. Books will also be available at the Danville Historical Society during regular hours, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10am–5pm, Hastings Store in West Danville, The Joe’s Pond Craft Shop, and the Walden Corner Stop Inn Shop. The cost is $45. At this time we will accept payment by cash or check.
We want to thank everyone who pre-ordered books through book@danvillevthistorical.org. Pre-orders may be picked up during the designated times at the above locations. For those who have pre-ordered and requested books be shipped, postage and handling will be added to the cost of the book according to the number of copies requested. Payment may be mailed to the Danville Historical Society, P.O. Box 274, Danville, Vermont 05828. Please include $7 to the cost per book for shipping and handling. For orders of 3 books or more, we will determine the most cost efficient mailing method of shipment and notify you prior to mailing your payment in advance of shipping.
